Ken Carey,

Mr. Ken Carey joined the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation as Manager of Business Development in November of 2017.  Prior to the Seaway, Ken was with CP Rail for 14 years in increasingly senior sales positions and has handled a variety of commodities and customers in both inter-modal and carload. Ken also spent 5 years with Canadian Pacific Logistics. Ken was the commercial lead for the Ontario team and managed a team of solution design specialists tasked with growing this non-asset division within CP.   

After Ken left CP and before he joined the Seaway, he was the Director, Business Development at Radiant. 

Ken's current role is General Manager, Commercial at the SLSMC.  In this role, Ken manages all business development, real estate management and marketing and business intelligence for the Canadian Seaway.   

Ken is a graduate from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and holds professional designations in sales and logistics. 

Ken resides in Port Dover, Ontario, where he is a husband and a father of 2 recent university graduates. Ken also plays and teaches the drums and spends his summers either golfing or boating.
