Theodore Prince, Chief Executive Officer/Founder of Tri-Cities Intermodal LLC

Theodore (Ted) Prince is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tri-Cities Intermodal LLC, s venture founded in 2023 to supply intermodal service to domestic and international customers in southeastern Washington and adjoining areas in Oregon and Idaho.

Mr. Prince has spent his career of 40+ years in the transportation industry, where he has worked in all surface freight modes. He is a globally recognized intermodal thought leader and has provided consulting services for a wide variety of surface freight transportation stakeholders around the world. He was awarded IANA’s Silver King Pin Award in 2022 for lifetime achievement and contribution to the intermodal industry. He has also published over 400 articles and columns

Mr. Prince received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Transportation from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 1990—while working full-time. His thesis, Double Stack Transportation as a Means to Domestic Containerization, served as a business plan to increase domestic business by 300% in two years.
