The agenda for Transportation Go! is coming together, with several speakers confirming their attendance for the March 12-13, 2025, show in Minneapolis. The annual Transportation Go! conference, last held in March 2024 in Toledo, Ohio, includes two days of solution-seeking discussions among grain and oilseed growers, port authorities, shippers, suppliers and others involved in transporting agricultural products.

Confirmed to speak at the event are Sten Könst of Spliethoff Transport, Daniel Maffei from the Federal Maritime Commission, John Wolfe of the Northwest Seaport Alliance and Gene Seroka. Since 2014, Seroka has served as the executive director of the Port of Los Angeles, the busiest container port in North America.

Seroka is expected to present a state of affairs, provide insights on imports, exports and future and current transportation issues.

“We are excited to welcome a strong lineup of speakers to Transportation Go!,” said Gary Williams, SSGA Director of Transportation and Regulatory Affairs. “Several speakers are well known for sharing their expertise in the global transportation industry and we are honored to have them speak at our event.”

Also joining the agenda is Dr. Sal Mercogliano, a professor at Campbell University specializing in maritime and military history. Mercogliano will present a live version of his podcast, “What’s Going on with Shipping?”

Other speakers and panels are being finalized, including updates from shipping lines, Great Lakes ports, trucking, railroad, federal leaders and more.

Sponsorship information is available at transportationgo.com/sponsors/ and registration is open at www.transportationgo.com/register-now/. The early bird registration rate of $375 is available through Jan. 31, 2025.

SSGA’s annual meeting will be held in the same location on March 11. The annual meeting will reflect on the successes from the past year and look ahead to the future. Board of Directors elections will be held, and the annual SSGA Alliance Honors will be presented at the meeting. The annual meeting is free for members, but pre-registration is requested. Non-members can register for $55.
