Set in the Great Lakes region, the 2024 Transportation Go! brought together industry leaders involved in transporting agricultural products.  

After around 120 growers, port authorities, shippers, suppliers and others gathered for the two-day event, it’s time to release the booklet that Transportation Go! supporters helped the event host, Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance (SSGA), build.  

Valuable meetings and conversations took place in March during Transportation Go! in Toledo, Ohio. This booklet gives attendees and those who couldn’t attend a chance to go back over the material and use as a reference guide.  

“With so many speakers and the breadth of topics that were covered during Transportation Go!, this booklet is a reminder of the top takeaways from each of the speakers,” SSGA Director of Transportation and Regulatory Affairs Gary Williams said. “We were privileged to have them attend the conference, and this also promotes more questions and follow up.” 

The digital version of the Transportation Go! recap booklet is available on the Transportation Go! website for anyone to view and will also be emailed out to all attendees. It will cover the two-day event with highlights from each speaker and session.  

“I think one of the highlights of this conference is that we had both a Federal Maritime Commission member attend and speak, as well as a member of the Surface Transportation Board,” Williams said. “All the different transportation lanes were represented at the conference, between trucking, rail, container and even ocean maritime transportation.”
